PUERTO VARAS

The administrative office of Pumalín Park is in Puerto Varas. Here you can get up to date information on how to get to the park, brochures, maps and it is where all of the historical archives of the Park are located. We invite all who want to visit this office to stop by.

CALETA GONZALO

Located 58 kilometers north of Chaitén, at the ramp where the ferries that run between Caleta Gonzalo and Hornopirén dock. Here you'll find areas to camp, hiking trails and an information center, including travel tips for other places along the Carretera Austral. There is also a shop where you can buy high quality artesanal goods. Ask about the camping and picnic areas, shelters and for the daily ferry schedule.

CHAITEN

Located at 62 O'Higgins Street. You'll find large-format information modules with panels that you can read along and inform yourself about the various facts on the park. Maps, books, T-Shirts and tourist information such as points of interest along the Carretera Austral and where to stay along the route is also available here.
